Common use of Cancelled Shifts Clause in Contracts

Cancelled Shifts. An employee who reports for work as scheduled and finding no work available shall be paid a minimum of three (3) hours at her basic rate of pay. However, when such employee works any portion of her scheduled shift, she shall receive pay for that entire shift.
