Common use of Carry-over of Annual Vacation Clause in Contracts

Carry-over of Annual Vacation. An employee shall be permitted to carry over up to a maximum of 40 hours of unused vacation from one year to the next. A written request will be submitted by the employee.

Carry-over of Annual Vacation. An employee shall be permitted to carry over up to a maximum of 40 hours one (1) week of unused vacation from one year to the next. A written request will be submitted by the employeeemployee two (2) months prior to the anniversary date.

Carry-over of Annual Vacation. An employee shall be permitted to carry over up to a maximum of 40 hours one week (5 days) of unused vacation from one year to the next. A written request will be submitted by the employeeemployee between January 1st and March 1st as per Article 12. 2 a) In special circumstances, or certified illness, the Manager may approve the carry-over of additional vacation. This additional vacation must be taken during the year in which it was approved to be used.
