Carry-over of Unused Vacation Time. If an employee does not take her/his full vacation entitlement in a given calendar year, the employee may (with the advance approval of her/his supervisor) carry a maximum of two (2) weeks (ten days) of vacation entitlement into the next calendar year. Approval by the supervisor for carry-over of vacation time shall not be unreasonably withheld. If the supervisor requests that an employee forgo any part of her/his vacation and it cannot be scheduled within the calendar year, the employee shall be entitled to carry the full amount of that vacation into the next calendar year with advance written approval. Approval shall not be unreasonably withheld. If approval cannot be obtained, the employee’s vacation will be scheduled within the calendar year.

  • Vacation Time After the Trial Period is complete, the Employee is entitled to days off per year of which is required to be mutually benefiting of the Employer and the Employee. It is required for the Employee to give notice before scheduling their vacation in accordance with Company policy.   • Vacation Period ‌ The choice of vacation periods shall be granted to employees on the basis of seniority with the Employer except where the period requested would be detrimental to the operation of the Employer.

  • Vacation Carry Over (a) A regular employee may carry over up to five (5) days vacation leave per year except that such vacation carryover shall not exceed ten (10) days at any time. An employee shall not receive pay in lieu of vacation time, except upon retirement or termination. All vacation time not requested for scheduling or carryover by three (3) months prior to the end of the vacation year will be scheduled by the Employer following consultation with the employee.

  • Annual Vacation Leave 33.01 An Employee shall not take vacation leave without prior authorization from the Employer.
