Common use of Cases Where Full Cost of Training Clause in Contracts

Cases Where Full Cost of Training. is Borne by the Employer This type of assistance will be given only at the direction of management or where management agrees that additional training will be helpful to an individual’s present performance and requires approval by the Employer. It is agreed that where specialized group training is to be offered, such training being a requirement in new jobs to be established, the Employer will post advance notice of such training, thus providing employees with the opportunity to apply for participation in the training course. The notice will advise that placement of employees on resulting jobs will be from amongst those taking the course. It is agreed that selection of applicants for participation in the course is at the discretion of management, and similarly, that selection of appointees to newly-established positions requiring this type of training will be at management’s discretion without further bulletining.
