Common use of Cash Payment in Lieu of Health and Welfare Benefits Clause in Contracts

Cash Payment in Lieu of Health and Welfare Benefits. In lieu of health and welfare benefits, temporary employees, or employees who do not qualify for the above benefits shall receive effective: July 1, 1988 - sixteen cents (16¢) July 1, 1989 - seventeen cents (17¢) July 1, 1990 - eighteen cents (18¢) per hour worked.
