Cause Provision. The Board agrees to abide by current laws dealing with cause for discharge, non-renewal, suspension, reprimand or discipline of certified personnel.

A. Released Time for Meetings

(Non-renewal of non-tenured teaching staff does not require just cause support). Applicable tonon-certificated staff only: Ayear-end nonrenewal or Reduction In Force during the year may proceed to the Commissioner of Education but cannot proceed to arbitration. A dismissal for cause during the year other than a Reduction In Force may proceed to arbitration.
