Common use of Certification Differential Clause in Contracts

Certification Differential. 5 1. A nurse may apply for and will receive a three (3) percent per hour 6 certification differential as of the application date, if the nurse has a current 7 state or national specialty certification recognized in Appendix A on file 8 with the Hospital. The differential will commence the first day of the pay 9 period following the date that written evidence of the passing test score or 10 continuing certification is received by SAGH HR. 12 2. Eligibility for the certification differential will cease beginning with the first 13 full pay period following the expiration of the certification, unless the nurse 14 submits proof to SAGH HR of certification renewal prior to that date. 1 3.
