Change in Procedure or Type of Service. The employer agrees to take all reasonable steps* so that an employee shall not lose employment because of a change in procedure or type of service offered. Every reasonable effort will be made by the employer to utilize normal turnover of employees, to the extent that it arises during the period in which changes occur, to absorb employees displaced because of such change or changes. However, when necessary to reduce staff due to change in procedure or type of service offered, it will be done as outlined in Article 10.
