Change of Rehearsal Schedule Procedure. If an early release from a rehearsal or a cancellation of a rehearsal prompts a desire for affected ARTISTs to alter the schedule for the rest of the day, such a change can occur only under the following conditions:
a. The change must be initiated by a Delegate based on a unanimous agreement from all the ARTISTS involved.
b. Affected ARTISTs shall vote by secret ballot.
c. At no time shall an OBT staff member approach an individual ARTIST nor should an individual ARTIST approach an OBT staff member regarding such options. All such requests must be made through a Delegate only.
d. OBT is under no obligation to accept the result of such secret ballot nor grant the request to change the schedule.
Change of Rehearsal Schedule Procedure. If an early release from a rehearsal or a cancellation of a rehearsal, or a need from EMPLOYER prompts a desire for either the EMPLOYER or an affected ARTISTs to alter the schedule for the rest of the day, the following procedure shall be used to determine whether or not the schedule shall be altered:
a. Delegates and the appropriate Ballet West staff member shall discuss suggested change option(s).
b. Delegates shall decide whether or not to present such an option(s) to the affected ARTISTs.
c. If after such discussion Delegates decide to present such an option(s) to the affected ARTISTs, the affected ARTISTs shall be convened for the purpose of explaining such option(s) and taking a vote.
d. Affected ARTISTs shall vote by secret ballot.
e. The proposed schedule change shall be implemented only if the vote is unanimous.
f. At no time shall a Ballet West staff member approach an individual ARTIST nor should an individual ARTIST approach a Ballet West staff member regarding such options. All such requests shall be made through a Delegate only.
