Common use of Check-Off Payments Clause in Contracts

Check-Off Payments. As a condition of employment, every employee shall sign a check-off form authorizing the Board to deduct from their earning and pay to the Union any Union dues. Dues deductions shall commence upon the date of hire of a new employee. The Board shall remit the dues deducted pursuant to such assignment to the Treasurer of the Union not later than fifteen (15) days following the date upon which deductions were made, with a written statement of names of the employees for whom the deductions were made and the amount of each deduction.
