Common use of Child Bearing Support Leave Clause in Contracts

Child Bearing Support Leave. Each employee shall be granted a one (1) day child bearing support leave of absence with pay which shall be taken within seven (7) calendar days following the birth of the child. Said employee shall also be entitled to an additional seven (7) calendar days off, without pay, if so desired. Child bearing support leave shall be in addition to any parental leave the employee may be entitled to.
