Common use of Child Bearing Support Leave Clause in Contracts

Child Bearing Support Leave. An employee whose spouse gives birth to a child shall be granted three (3) days off with pay to be taken on the date of birth of the child or within ten (10) days thereafter. The Employer also agrees to grant additional time off without pay, up to seven (7) calendar days, to said employee if they so desire. Child Bearing Support leave shall be in addition to any parental leave the employee may be entitled to.
