Common use of Child Bearing Support Leave Clause in Contracts

Child Bearing Support Leave. Upon request, the Employer agrees to grant an employee up to seven (7) working days, without pay, upon the birth of their child. In addition, and upon request, an employee who has not physically given birth to their child shall be granted up to thirty-seven (37) weeks unpaid leave of absence for parental responsibilities in relation to the birth of their child.
