Common use of Child Care Leave--In Clause in Contracts

Child Care Leave--In. addition to the time provided under FMLA for the birth of a child, the adoption of a child, or caring for a seriously ill child, six (6) weeks of child care leave will be granted upon request. Leave under FMLA must be used before child care leave.

Child Care Leave--In. addition to the time provided under FMLA for the birth of a child, the adoption of a child, or caring for a seriously ill child, six (6) weeks of child care leave will be granted upon request. Leave under FMLA must be used before child care leave. After twelve (12) weeks of leave under FMLA, six (6) weeks of child care leave may be used. Child care leave is unpaid and fringe benefits are not provided. Requests for child care leave shall be made at least one week in advance and shall terminate at the ends of marking periods whenever possible.
