Child Coverage Limited to Coverage Under One Employee If both spouses work for the State or another organization participating in the State’s Group Insurance Program, either spouse, but not both, may cover the eligible dependent children or grandchildren. This restriction also applies to two divorced, legally separated, or unmarried employees who share legal responsibility for their eligible dependent children or grandchildren.
Coverage Under Only One Plan For purposes of (a) and (b) above, if the employee’s adult child (age 18 to 26) works for the State or another organization participating in the State’s Group Insurance Program, the child may not be covered as a dependent by the employee unless the child is not eligible for a full Employer Contribution as defined in Section 3A. Effective January 1, 2015 for purposes of (a) and (b) above, if the employee’s adult child (age 18 to 26) works for the State or another organization participating in the State’s Group Insurance Program, the child may be covered as a dependent by the employee.
Insurance Under More Than One Policy If you have insurance on specifically described property, our policy will be considered excess insurance, and we will not pay any loss or claim until the amount of such other insurance is used up. In all other cases our policy will pay its ratable proportion of the loss or claim.
Additional Insured Status and Scope of Coverage The County of Los Angeles, its Special Districts, Elected Officials, Officers, Agents, Employees and Volunteers (collectively County and its Agents) shall be provided additional insured status under Contractor’s General Liability policy with respect to liability arising out of Contractor’s ongoing and completed operations performed on behalf of the County. County and its Agents additional insured status shall apply with respect to liability and defense of suits arising out of the Contractor’s acts or omissions, whether such liability is attributable to the Contractor or to the County. The full policy limits and scope of protection also shall apply to the County and its Agents as an additional insured, even if they exceed the County’s minimum Required Insurance specifications herein. Use of an automatic additional insured endorsement form is acceptable providing it satisfies the Required Insurance provisions herein.
Termination of Coverage This Contract may be terminated as follows:
Duration of Coverage All required insurance shall be maintained during the entire term of the Agreement.
