Civic and Community Participation Sample Clauses

Civic and Community Participation. During the Term of this Agreement, Developer agrees to actively participate in the civic, charitable, educational, philanthropic and economic development of Overland Park. Accordingly, at a minimum, Developer shall (a) at all times be a dues-paying member in good standing with (i) the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce, and (ii) the Overland Park Economic Development Council, and (b) Developer shall make an annual donation to the Overland Park Arts and Recreation Foundation in an amount determined in the sole discretion of Developer, but not to be less than $1,000 annually.
Civic and Community Participation. As set forth in Section 6.10, during the Term of the Agreement, Xxxxxxxxx agrees to actively participate in the civic, charitable, educational, philanthropic and economic development of Overland Park, which, at a minimum, includes being a dues-paying member in good standing with (i) the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce, and (ii) the Overland Park Economic Development Council. Xxxxxxxxx also agrees to make an annual donation to the Overland Park Arts and Recreation Foundation in an amount determined by the Developer, but not to be less than $1,000 annually.

Civic and Community Participation. During the Term of this Second Amended and Restated Agreement, Developer agrees to actively participate in the civic, charitable, educational, philanthropic and economic development of Overland Park. Civic and Community Participation. In Section 9.1, Xxxxxxxxx agrees that during the 20-year Term of the Agreement, Developer will actively participate in the civic, charitable, educational, philanthropic and economic development of Overland Park, including an obligation to maintain a dues-paying membership with the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce, and the Overland Park Downtown Overland Park Business Improvement District. Additionally, Developer has specifically agreed to make a donation of at least $1,250 annually to the Shawnee Mission School District Foundation and to sponsor a Downtown Overland Park program or event in an amount of at least $1,250 annually.

Related to Civic and Community Participation

  • Community Participation Goods and works required for Part A (d) of the Project shall be procured in accordance with procedures set forth in the Project Implementation Manual and acceptable to the Association.

  • Joint Participation The parties hereto participated jointly in the negotiation and preparation of this Release, and each party has had the opportunity to obtain the advice of legal counsel and to review and comment upon the Release. Accordingly, it is agreed that no rule of construction shall apply against any party or in favor of any party. This Release shall be construed as if the parties jointly prepared this Release, and any uncertainty or ambiguity shall not be interpreted against one party and in favor of the other.

  • Financial Participation Prohibited Under Section 2155.004, Texas Government Code (relating to financial participation in preparing solicitations), Contractor certifies that the individual or business entity named in this Contract and any related Solicitation Response is not ineligible to receive this Contract and acknowledges that this Contract may be terminated and payment withheld if this certification is inaccurate.
