Common use of CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION Clause in Contracts

CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION. a. The parties hereto agree that the employees covered by this Agreement shall be considered in the type of work and classification as set forth on Schedule A, attached hereto and made a part of hereof by reference. Also, in addition, in recognition of service to the district, each employee upon retirement from the Xxxxx Public Schools and under the Michigan Retirement Laws, shall be paid a terminal leave payment of sixty dollars ($60.00) for each year of service to the district and twenty-five ($25.00) per day of accumulated sick leave, provided the employee has been employed by the district for at least ten (10) years.
