Classification and Wage Rates. 15.01 The classifications and wage rates which are in effect for the term of this Collective Agreement shall be as shown in Appendix "A". 15.02 It is agreed that the Company has the right to establish new job classifications during the life of this Collective Agreement and apply a wage rate for such classification. If the Union is in disagreement with the wage rate it may lodge a grievance commencing at Step 2 of the Grievance Procedure. The Company agrees to discuss the rate of pay with the Union prior to implementing. (a) Employees who for the convenience of the Company, are temporarily transferred to another job for more than two (2) weeks will receive the rate of pay for the new job or their own rate of pay, whichever is greater. (b) Employees who, for the convenience or benefit of the employees, are temporarily transferred for more than two (2) weeks to another job instead of being laid off due to lack of work shall be paid the rate for the job to which they are transferred while so employed. 15.04 Employees who report for work at the regularly scheduled time for their shift shall be entitled to a minimum of three (3) hours pay at their regular hourly base rate, unless previously notified by the Company at least one (1) hour prior to the normal starting time not to report. 15.05 Employees called in outside of their scheduled working hours shall be guaranteed three (3) hours work or three (3) hours pay in lieu at straight time or the applicable overtime rate for any such shift. 15.06 Employees shall be paid at their regular hourly rate for time spent at any employee meetings or training sessions which the Company deems it mandatory for the employees to attend. Employees who come in on their day off shall be paid a minimum of three (3) hours.
