Common use of Classification Seniority Clause in Contracts

Classification Seniority. The date an employee is actively at work and on the payroll as a certified employee within a specific job classification. Employees who are on unpaid leaves of absence of more than ninety (90) working days shall have their classification seniority date adjusted to reflect the days they were not on active duty.
