CMU Retiree Status. An employee will be eligible for CMU Retiree status if he/she has been employed for twenty-five (25) years and any age at Central Michigan University, or a minimum of ten (10) years and the attainment of at least age fifty-five (10), or employed for at least ten (10) years and any age if totally or permanently disabled as defined by the Social Security Administration.
