Posting Schedules. The University agrees to post a four (4) week schedule (two (2) firm, two (2) for information). The University will not dictate a split shift more than three (3) times per year for each officer. Any additional splitting of shifts must be by mutual consent.
Posting Schedules. The Employer shall post the schedules of work at least two (2) weeks in advance, but this shall not restrict the Employer in adjusting the schedule with less notice when service requirements of the Employer necessitate the change. The Employer agrees to promptly notify the employee involved when a change in the posted schedule is made. Emergency - An “emergency” for the purpose of the above paragraph is a situation in which the Hospital is obligated without advance planning to change schedules with less than twenty-four (24) hours notice. In cases of emergencies, work schedules may be adjusted, provided the employees are given reasonable notice of the change in their schedule and the Union is promptly notified by the Hospital of the reason for the change. In making changes, however, the Hospital shall give consideration to any prior commitments of the employees. It is the employee’s responsibility to keep the Hospital informed of his/her telephone number or how else he/she may be reached.
