Common use of Collection of Dues Clause in Contracts

Collection of Dues. City agrees, upon written consent of the employee involved, to deduct dues and voluntary union deductions selected by members, as established by the Union, from the salaries of its members. The sums so withheld shall be remitted by City, without delay, along with a list of employees and their respective dues and voluntary deductions. Union bears responsibility for allocating dues and voluntary deductions pursuant to employees’ requests.
