Common use of Communication Allowance Clause in Contracts

Communication Allowance. (a) Teacher Aides required to perform interpretation of: (i) Languages other than English (LOTE); (ii) Braille; and (iii) Signing (e.g. AUSLAN); will receive a communication allowance of $10.94 per week (based on $569 p.a. with no pro rata for the weekly payment) subject to meeting the following requirements: (i) required by the Department to perform the interpretation; and (ii) hold qualifications recognised by the Department.
