COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE. 6.01 The QBEA and the Board of Education recognize the importance of communication in maintaining good relationships and agree to meet at least quarterly to discuss District-wide matters. The committee will not negotiate terms and conditions of employment, adjust grievances or address personnel issues. The QBEA will appoint representatives from each building and from each employee group in the bargaining unit, not to exceed eight (8) members. The Board and Administration representatives will include the Superintendent, the administrator responsible for curriculum, building administrators, one member of the Board of Education and others as needed (5-6 members). The Communication Committee will be co-chaired by the Superintendent and the President of the QBEA. All members of the committee will be trained in the interest-based process. Meeting minutes will be produced and distributed after each meeting.
