Companions. The parties recognize that residents from time to time may wish to purchase the services of a companion. The amount of time and whom they wish to hire, the parties recognize is the choice of the resident. If a resident so wishes to purchase these services, the following would apply: Residents who wish to hire staff as companions may do so through the Employer. Staff are free to decline such arrangements. The provisions that apply to staff under the Collective Agreement would not apply to companion services or hours. Staff working as companions for residents would be paid $15.50 per hour. Unless the staff member is specifically requested by the resident, then those staff already scheduled to work 75 hours bi-weekly (or 7.5 hours on the day being requested), would not normally be offered companion hours that would put them over the 7.5 hours in a day or 75 hours bi-weekly. The parties acknowledge that there is no guarantee of companion hours and the resident may cancel at any time. Companions. Certified Rio Vista residents may bring companions from the same starting and ending destination. Each companion must pay using cash for the same fare as the person using the taxi scrip. A companion is someone who is riding with a person with disabilities but is not riding as a reason to assist the ADA passenger.
Companions. ADA Paratransit clients shall be allowed to reserve space for one companion when they make their original reservation(s). This is in addition to a PCA. Additional companions may travel when vehicle capacity allows. Companions may only ride at the same time (s) , and to and from the same origin (s) and destination(s), as the ADA Paratransit client. Companions traveling pay the same user fare as the client and are an eligible reimbursable trip for billing purposes.
Companions. I understand that companions, including children and/or a spouse, are not permitted to accompany students enrolled in any study abroad programs, unless they are enrolled in the program. Only students who meet eligibility requirements and intend to fully participate in the program will be considered for admission to Pitt Developed and Pitt Exchange programs. A spouse may apply, enroll, and fully participate in the program. Otherwise, only companions deemed necessary for a student with a disclosed and appropriately documented disability will be permitted to accompany the student on the program. To determine if family and individual living arrangements are available, students should contact their program provider directly.
Companions. When making a reservation for complementary paratransit service, including requests for demand-response service, the ADA eligible individual may request that space be reserved for one or more companions. One individual, in addition to a personal care attendant (if applicable), will be provided service as a companion of the eligible person. Service will be provided to additional companions on a space available basis. Companions will be charged the same fare as the ADA eligible individual. In order to be considered a companion, the person accompanying the eligible individual must be traveling to/from the same origin and destination. A family member or friend accompanying an ADA eligible rider will be regarded as a companion, and not as a personal care attendant, unless the family member or friend is acting in the capacity of a personal care attendant.

For example, IFS may use this information to help customers derive more value from the Software and Services, to understand and analyze trends, or to track which features are used most often in order to improve the Software and Services. IFS may share anonymous usage data with its service providers for the purpose of helping in such tracking, analysis and improvements.
