COMPENSATION ACCIDENTS AND MODIFIED WORK. The Company shall pay an employee for time lost resulting from a compensable accident during the period on the first day which is not covered by Workers’ Compensation Board cover- age. The Company agrees to provide a copy of the Form 7 to the employee and notify the employee in the event a claim is being challenged. Full time employees awaiting or Weekly Indemnity claims will be advanced an amount equal to the Weekly Indemnity Benefit paid to an employee when they would normally receive their pay. These monies will be reimbursed to the once the claim has been processed. Form and any challenges to claims will be forwarded to the Union. The Company and believes strongly in the benefits of a rehabilitation program for employees who have been injured on the job or are recuperating from personal injury or illness. To this end the Company and the Union have formed and are committed to a jointly administered Modified/Return to Work Committee. This Committee will meet on a regular basis throughout the life of this agreement.

  • TERMINATION AND MODIFICATION A. This Agreement shall continue in full force and effect until 11:59 p.m., June 30, 2023.

  • CONDITIONS FOR EMERGENCY/HURRICANE OR DISASTER - TERM CONTRACTS It is hereby made a part of this Invitation for Bids that before, during and after a public emergency, disaster, hurricane, flood, or other acts of God that Orange County shall require a “first priority” basis for goods and services. It is vital and imperative that the majority of citizens are protected from any emergency situation which threatens public health and safety, as determined by the County. Contractor agrees to rent/sell/lease all goods and services to the County or other governmental entities as opposed to a private citizen, on a first priority basis. The County expects to pay contractual prices for all goods or services required during an emergency situation. Contractor shall furnish a twenty-four (24) hour phone number in the event of such an emergency.

  • Modifications and Rectifications to Coverage 1. A Party may make rectifications of a purely formal nature to its coverage under this Chapter, or minor amendments to its Schedules in Annex XVI, provided that it notifies the other Parties in writing and no Party objects in writing within 45 days from the receipt of the notification. A Party that makes such a rectification or minor amendment need not provide compensatory adjustments to the other Parties.

  • Modified Work Program The Employer shall provide modified work for any employee injured on the job as per the requirements of the Workers’ Safety and Insurance Board. The employee must co-operate in developing and participating in, a modified work program suited to his capabilities, and with the approval of his physician and/or the WSIB. Both the Employer and the employee shall work together to return the employee to good health and his regular duties.
