Common use of Compensation for Accrued Vacation-Leave Clause in Contracts

Compensation for Accrued Vacation-Leave. Upon the completion of employment with the City, an employee, or employee's estate, shall be entitled to receive a cash payout equal to 100% of the value of accrued unused vacation credit, computed from the last base wage of the employee, including all base monthly special assignment and incentive pay.
