Compensation When Scheduled. No more than two (2) employee members on the bargaining committee will be paid for the time spent in negotiations in the event they are scheduled to work during a bargaining meeting. Said time shall be only for straight time hours they would otherwise have worked on their regularly scheduled shift. Employees shall return to their work stations after negotiations have terminated, provided that there is time left in their normal schedule. Employees shall report to work prior to negotiations in the event that negotiations are to commence subsequent to the start of their normal shift. Prior approval of the Sheriff is required for attendance at negotiation caucuses if they are to occur during the employee's regularly scheduled work time.
