Compensatory Leave in Lieu of Overtime Payments. 1) In accordance with 1985 amendments to the Fair Labor Standards Act, employees of the Bargaining Unit may option compensatory leave in lieu of cash payment of overtime hours worked. Said leave shall be based upon pay hours and shall constitute time off, with pay, from the regular work schedule.
