Complaint Rejection. When presented with a formal complaint, if it is determined that: (a) the complaint does not fall within the scope of this procedure; (b) the complaint was not filed within the specified time limits; (c) the complaint already has or is being processed administratively or through civil proceedings; or (d) a decision has already been made and appropriate steps have been taken by proper authorities; then the Executive Director shall provide written acknowledgment of its receipt to the complainant, and advise the complainant of its rejection, the reasons and his/her right to file civil action.

  • Complaint Process (a) The Employer and the Union agree that all employees of the University are responsible to adhere to the University’s policies on human rights as well as those on the prevention of workplace/sexual violence and workplace/sexual harassment.
