Conflict Minerals–Free Requirements Sample Clauses

Conflict Minerals–Free Requirements. The Supplier guarantees that the Products (including the parts and materials thereof) it supplies to the Customer shall be free of Conflict Minerals, and it is conducting due diligence investigations on its supply chain to ensure that its gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tin (Sn) and tungsten (W) are not obtained through non-governmental military groups or unlawful organizations from mines in conflict areas of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) or illegal smuggling routes. In addition, minerals exported from the following countries do not meet the “Conflict-Free Standards”: the DRC, Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, Tanzania and Kenya (countries which the U.N. Security Council has determined are global export routes for DRC-mined minerals).
