Construction Change Authorization. A written order to the Contractor, signed by Owner and Project Manager, which amends the Contract Documents as described, and authorizes Contractor to proceed with a change which affects the Contract Sum or the Contract Time, for inclusion in a subsequent Change Order.

Construction Change Authorization. A. In lieu of Proposal Request, Project Manager may issue a construction change authorization for Contractor to proceed with a change for subsequent inclusion in a Change Order.
Construction Change Authorization. Architect may issue a directive, on AIA Form Construction Change Authorization signed by the Owner, instructing the Contractor to proceed with a change in the Work, for subsequent inclusion in a Change Order. Document will describe changes in the Work, and designate method of determining any change in Contract Sum/Price or Contract Time. Promptly execute the change.
