Consultation Objectives. Through ongoing consultation and public engagement processes the SQCF aims to collaborate with Squamish Nation, other First Nations and relevant stakeholders regarding forest management planning and high level direction. SQCF will provide timely information about and seek feedback on proposed forestry activities, listen to and acknowledge concerns and aspirations, and share how the input influenced forest management decisions. The engagement level will range from “Consult” to “Collaborate”, as defined on the IAP2 Spectrum of Public Participation (International Association for Public Participation 2018).
