Specific Objectives. In accordance with Articles 34 and 35 of the Cotonou Agreement, the objectives of this Agreement are to:
a) establish a basis for the negotiation of an EPA which will help reduce poverty, promote regional integration, economic cooperation and good governance in Central Africa and increase Central Africa's production, export and supply capacities, as well as its ability to attract foreign investment and its capacities in terms of trade policy and trade-related issues;
b) xxxxxx the smooth and gradual integration of Central Africa into the global economy, in accordance with its political choices and its development priorities;
c) strengthen existing relations between the Parties on the basis of solidarity and mutual interest;
d) create an Agreement that is compatible with the rules of the World Trade Organisation;
e) establish a basis for negotiating and implementing an effective, predictable and transparent regulatory framework for trade, investment, competition, intellectual property, public procurement and sustainable development in the Central African region, thus supporting the conditions for increasing investment and private-sector initiatives, and enhance capacity for the supply of goods and services, competitiveness and economic growth in the region;
f) provide a roadmap for negotiations on the areas referred to in the preceding paragraph for which it was not possible to complete negotiations in 2007.
Specific Objectives. 23.2.1. To recognize those individuals who exceed performance expectations.
23.2.2. To recognize individuals who are meeting performance expectations.
23.2.3. To identify individuals whose performance does not meet performance expectations.
23.2.4. To help faculty who need or desire assistance with aspects of their job.

Specific Objectives. For purposes of fulfilling and realising the objectives set out in Article 4 of this Agreement, Tripartite Member/Partner States shall:
a) progressively eliminate tariffs and Non-Tariff Barriers to trade in goods;
b) liberalise trade in services;
c) cooperate on customs matters and implementation of trade facilitation measures;
d) establish and promote cooperation in all trade-related areas among Tripartite Member/Partner States; and
e) establish and maintain an institutional framework for implementation and administration of the Tripartite Free Trade Area.
Specific Objectives. The Parties will pursue the following specific objectives according to the terms and conditions of the Alliance Agreement and as set forth in the applicable Specific Agreements: - Exploit new and emerging opportunities in the Service Provider Market and the Enterprise Market that will substantially grow the revenues for the Parties; - Create solutions and consulting service models for the Service Provider Market and Enterprise Market that are designed to: - increase the value of services and products to customers; - decrease time-to-market for clients in solution and product development and deployment; and - reduce technical risk to clients and customers in provisioning solutions; - Create competitive advantage in the development, delivery and deployment of Internet based solutions in the Service Provider Market and the Enterprise Market; and - Promote and accelerate adoption and deployment of Internet based solutions by providing repeatable, complete solutions utilizing Internet Protocol ("IP")-based technologies on a Digital Broadband delivery infrastructure.

(b) xxxxxx the smooth and gradual integration of Cameroon into the global economy, in accordance with its political choices and its development priorities, supporting such integration for the Central African region;
(c) strengthen existing relations between the Parties on the basis of solidarity and mutual interest;
(d) create an Agreement that is compatible with the rules of the WTO;
(e) establish a basis for negotiating and implementing an effective, predictable and transparent regulatory framework for trade, investment, competition, intellectual property, public procurement and sustainable development in the Central African region, thus supporting the conditions for increasing investment and private-sector initiatives, and enhance capacity for the supply of goods and services, competitiveness and economic growth in the region;
(f) provide a roadmap for negotiations on the areas referred to in paragraph (e) with a view to extending the scope of the Agreement.
Specific Objectives. 1. The Parties adopt the Specific Objectives for the boundary waters of the Great Lakes System as set forth in Annex 1, subject to the following:
(a) The Specific Objectives adopted pursuant to this Article represent the minimum levels of water quality desired in the boundary waters of the Great Lakes System and are not intended to preclude the establishment of more stringent requirements.
(b) The determination of the achievement of Specific Objectives shall be based on statistically valid sampling data.
(c) Notwithstanding the adoption of Specific Objectives, all reasonable and practicable measures shall be taken to maintain or improve the existing water quality in those areas of the boundary waters of the Great Lakes System where such water quality is better than that prescribed by the Specific Objectives, and in those areas having outstanding natural resource value.
(d) The responsible regulatory agencies shall not consider flow augmentation as a substitute for adequate treatment to meet the Specific Objectives.
(e) The Parties recognize that in certain areas of inshore waters natural phenomena exist which, despite the best efforts of the Parties, will prevent the achievement of some of the Specific Objectives. As early as possible, these areas should be identified explicitly by the appropriate jurisdictions and reported to the International Joint Commission.
(f) The Parties recognize that there are areas in the boundary waters of the Great Lakes System where, due to human activity, one or more of the General or Specific Objectives of the Agreement are not being met. Pending virtual elimination of the persistent toxic substances in the Great Lakes System, the Parties, in cooperation with the State and Provincial Governments and the Commission, shall identify and work toward the elimination of:
(i) Areas of Concern pursuant to Annex 2;
(ii) Critical Pollutants pursuant to Annex 2; and
