Contacting employees. The Employer will contact the employee by phone. It is the employee’s responsibility to keep the Employer informed of his/her telephone number or how else he/she may be reached. The Employer will consider an employee unavailable to work if there is no answer to a telephone call. In this event the employer will leave a voice message, if available, indicating the date and time called. The Employer will maintain documentation of calls to qualified employees, including time of call and outcome. The Employer will attempt to notify qualified employees on duty as soon as the need for additional hours of work or overtime is known.
