Continuation of Health Benefits; COBRA. Upon retirement, the Teacher’s continued right to group medical insurance coverage will be limited to meeting the definition of full-time employee under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) of 2010. Teachers not meeting PPACA’s definition of full-time employee may access the COBRA entitlement for medical coverage. Dental and vision coverage will be limited to the COBRA entitlement. The retired Teacher will be required to pay the premiums on such continued coverage for medical, dental, and vision in accordance with the COBRA statute and regulations, as appropriate. Teachers considering retirement should contact the District’s Department of Human Resources for details on COBRA.

  • Continuation of Health Benefits An eligible employee who is on an approved FML Leave shall be entitled to continue participation in health plan coverage (medical, dental, and optical) as follows:

  • Retiree Health Benefits 1. There is currently in effect a retiree health benefit program for retired members of LACERS under LAAC Division 4, Chapter 11. All covered employees who are members of LACERS, regardless of retirement tier, shall contribute to LACERS four percent (4%) of their pre-tax compensation earnable toward vested retiree health benefits as provided by this program. The retiree health benefit available under this program is a vested benefit for all covered employees who make this contribution, including employees enrolled in LACERS Tier 3.

  • Health Benefits The method for determining the Employer bi-weekly contributions to the cost of employee health insurance programs under the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP) will be as follows:

  • Health Benefits Eligibility a. The State System shall provide an eligible permanent full-time active employee with health benefits. The State System shall provide permanent part-time employees who are expected to be in an active pay status at least fifty (50%) of the time every pay period with health benefits.

  • Continuation of Benefits Following the termination of Executive’s employment hereunder, the Executive shall have the right to continue in the Company’s group health insurance plan or other Company benefit program as may be required by COBRA or any other federal or state law or regulation.

  • Benefits Continuation (a) For leaves taken pursuant to Clauses 26.01, 26.02, and 26.07, the Employer shall maintain coverage for medical, extended health, dental, group life and long term disability, and shall pay the Employer's share of these premiums.

  • HEALTH & WELFARE BENEFITS Executive shall be eligible to participate in all health and welfare benefits provided generally to other employees of the Company.

  • Health Care Benefits (a) Each regular full-time employee may elect coverage for himself and his eligible dependents* under one of the following health insurance plans:

  • Workplace Safety Insurance Benefits (WSIB) Top Up Benefits If the employee is in a class of employees that, on August 31, 2012, was entitled to use unused sick leave credits for the purpose of topping up benefits received under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997;

  • Requiring Health Benefits for Covered Employees Contractor agrees to comply fully with and be bound by all of the provisions of the Health Care Accountability Ordinance (HCAO), as set forth in San Francisco Administrative Code Chapter 12Q, including the remedies provided, and implementing regulations, as the same may be amended from time to time. The provisions of section 12Q.5.1 of Chapter 12Q are incorporated by reference and made a part of this Agreement as though fully set forth herein. The text of the HCAO is available on the web at xxx.xxxxx.xxx/xxxx. Capitalized terms used in this Section and not defined in this Agreement shall have the meanings assigned to such terms in Chapter 12Q.
