Common use of Continuation of Medical Insurance Clause in Contracts

Continuation of Medical Insurance. The Town will continue medical insurance coverage for a qualifying event in accordance with the provisions of the Town’s Family and Medical Leave Policy. Thereafter, an employee who is receiving Workers’ Compensation payments for lost time AND is drawing full pay by using accrued leave credits will continue to receive medical insurance benefits and the Town will continue to make its contributions for up to a maximum of one year provided the employee makes the required employee contribution.
