Common use of Continuation of Medical Insurance Clause in Contracts

Continuation of Medical Insurance. An employee who is receiving short-term disability payments provided under this Article AND is drawing full pay by using accrued leave credits, will continue to receive medical insurance benefits and the Town will continue to make its contributions provided the employee makes the required employee contribution. If the employee has exhausted all leave credits, the employee may continue to be eligible for medical insurance coverage in accordance with COBRA.
