Common use of Continuous Service, Vacation Accrual Clause in Contracts

Continuous Service, Vacation Accrual. The calculation of service for purposes of vacation accrual eligibility shall be based on length of continuous state service including paid leave, war service, up to six (6) months of unpaid leave and/or up to one (1) year of any period of continuous layoff provided the employee is reemployed within three (3) years.
