CONTRACT TERMINATION BY THE STUDENT AFTER OCCUPANCY. A. If termination occurs for any reason, the Student must officially check out with the Residence Life staff in his or her hall/apartment. Failure to check out properly may result in continuation of housing charges. To terminate this Contract after occupancy, the Student must complete a Housing Policy Exemption Request and receive approval from Residence Life prior to checking out. If the Student checks out without approval, Residence Life reserves the right to continue to assess housing and dining charges. If the student withdraws from the University, official checkout from the hall/apartment must occur within 24 hours.

To terminate this Contract after occupancy, the Student must submit the required paperwork and wait for approval from Residence Life. If the Student checks out without approval, the Residence Life reserves the right to continue to assess occupancy charges.

Petitions to move out will be considered until the last day to officially add/drop a full semester course. Petitions to move out will be considered for the following major life/academic changes: • Pregnant • Married • Significant illness or injury • Withdrawing from CMU after occupancy • Significant financial change If a Petition to move out is approved, the student shall pay a prorated housing charge through their official check out date.

  • Termination by the State The State or commissioner of Administration may cancel this Professional and Technical Services Master Contract and any Work Authorizations at any time, with or without cause, upon 30 days’ written notice to the Contractor. Upon termination, the Contractor will be entitled to payment, determined on a pro rata basis, for services satisfactorily performed.
