CONTRACT TERMINATION BY THE STUDENT AFTER OCCUPANCY. A. If termination occurs for any reason, the Student must officially check out with the Residence Life staff in his or her hall/apartment. Failure to check out properly may result in continuation of housing charges. To terminate this Contract after occupancy, the Student must complete a Housing Policy Exemption Request and receive approval from Residence Life prior to checking out. If the Student checks out without approval, Residence Life reserves the right to continue to assess housing and dining charges. If the student withdraws from the University, official checkout from the hall/apartment must occur within 24 hours.

Petitions to move out will be considered until the last day to officially add/drop a full semester course. Petitions to move out will be considered for the following major life/academic changes: • Pregnant • Married • Significant illness or injury • Withdrawing from CMU after occupancy • Significant financial change If a Petition to move out is approved, the student shall pay a prorated housing charge through their official check out date.   • Termination by Lessee Subject to Subparagraph 18D, and without limiting any other rights and remedies to which Lessee may be entitled by common law, statutory law, or as elsewhere provided in this Lease, this Lease may be terminated by Lessee at any time after the happening, and during the existence, of one of more of the following events: i. The City’s permanent abandonment of the Premises at the Airport; ii. The lawful assumption by the United States Government, or any authorized agency thereof, of the operation, control, or use of the Airport, or any substantial part or parts thereof, that substantially restricts any sublessee from operating for at least one hundred fifty (150) calendar days; iii. The issuance by any court of competent jurisdiction of an injunction that prevents or restrains the use of the Airport or the Premises, that continues for at least one hundred fifty (150) calendar days; iv. The default by the City in the performance of any covenant or obligation on the part of the City to be performed, and the failure of the City to remedy the default for sixty (60) calendar days after receipt from Lessee of written notice to remedy the same; or v. Lessee’s decision to terminate the Lease as provided in Paragraph 11(B) of the Lease.

  • Termination by Tenant In the event that the destruction to the Premises cannot be restored as required herein under applicable laws and regulations within two hundred seventy (270) days of the damage or casualty, notwithstanding the availability of insurance proceeds, Tenant shall have the right to terminate this Lease by giving the Landlord notice thereof within thirty (30) days of date of the occurrence of such casualty specifying the date of termination which shall not be less than thirty (30) days nor more than sixty (60) days following the date on which such notice of termination is given. In the event of the giving of such notice of termination, this Lease shall expire and all interest of Tenant in the Premises shall terminate on the date so specified in such notice and the Rent, reduced by any proportionate reduction in Rent as provided for in Section 18.1 above, shall be paid to the date of such termination.

  • Non-Renewal Termination If the Agreement expires as set forth in Section 6(g) [Non-Renewal Termination], then, subject to Section 22 [Compliance with Section 409A], in addition to all salary, annual bonuses, expense reimbursements, benefits and accrued vacation days earned by the Executive pursuant to Section 4 through the date of the Executive’s termination of employment, the Executive shall be entitled to the compensation set forth in Sections 8(d)(i) through (v), provided that within sixty days following the Executive’s termination of employment (i) the Executive has executed and delivered the Release to the Company, and (ii) the Release has become irrevocable:

For ICA Program licenses that Customer acquired for a one-time charge, replacement licenses may be acquired for an upgrade charge, if available. When Customer obtains licenses for these replacement ICA Programs, Customer agrees to terminate the license of the replaced ICA Programs when charges become due, unless IBM specifies otherwise. Any successor to Lessee under clause (c)(ii) above shall be subject to Manager's prior written approval, which approval shall not be withheld or delayed if such successor to Lessee is (i) a direct or indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Lessor, (ii) a person or entity to whom a Sale of the Inn is permitted under Section 10.02.A. of the Management Agreement, or (iii) a person or entity who otherwise is approved by Manager in its sole discretion (an "Approved Lessee").

  • Vendor’s Termination If TIPS fails to materially perform pursuant to the terms of this Agreement, Vendor shall provide written notice to TIPS specifying the default (“Notice of Default”). If TIPS does not cure such default within thirty (30) days, Vendor may terminate this Agreement, in whole or in part, for cause. If Vendor terminates this Agreement for cause, and it is later determined that the termination for cause was wrongful, the termination shall automatically be converted to and treated as a termination for convenience.
