CONTRIBUTIONS ON BEHALF OF EMPLOYEES IN RECEIPT OF WORKERS' COMPENSATION TIME-LOSS BENEFITS. In the case of an employee who is in receipt of time-loss benefits from the Workers' Compensation Board, the Employer shall remit contributions to the Health Care Plan and to the Local 40 Pension Plan pursuant to the provisions of subsections (a) and (c) of Article 15.02, on the basis of the hours the employee would have been working other than for his temporary disability.

  • WORKERS' COMPENSATION BENEFITS In accordance with Section 142 of the State Finance Law, this contract shall be void and of no force and effect unless the Contractor shall provide and maintain coverage during the life of this contract for the benefit of such employees as are required to be covered by the provisions of the Workers' Compensation Law.

  • REFUND OF UNEARNED COMPENSATION The Party of the Second Part agrees to refund the Party of the First Part any compensation received for which no services were rendered. TERMINATION: This contract may be terminated by either party pursuant to law. OTHER CONDITIONS: Any subsequent contracts shall supersede the provisions of this contract.   • Workplace Safety Insurance Benefits (WSIB) Top Up Benefits If the employee is in a class of employees that, on August 31, 2012, was entitled to use unused sick leave credits for the purpose of topping up benefits received under the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997;

  • ’ Compensation and Employer’s Liability The policy is required only if Contractor has employees. The policy must include workers’ compensation to meet minimum requirements of the California Labor Code, and it must provide coverage for employer’s liability bodily injury at minimum limits of $1,000,000 per accident or disease.

  • Sick Leave to Establish EI Maternity Benefits If the Employee will be able to establish a new EI Maternity Benefit claim in the six weeks immediately following the birth of her child through access to sick leave at 100% of her regular salary, she shall be eligible for up to six weeks leave at 100% of her regular salary without deduction from the sick days or short term disability leave days (remainder of six weeks topped-up as SEB).
