– Control of Fugitive Emissions. The Contractor shall take all reasonable precautions necessary to control fugitive emissions from the job site. Fugitive emissions include, but are not limited to: nuisance dust, chemical odors,vapors,gases, and hazardous materials (such as lead dust or asbestos). Where the product(s) or material(s) to be used by the Contractor has a permissible exposure limit (PEL) established by OSHA or VDLI, the Contractor shall take all reasonable steps to maintain exposures below the PEL. Contractor employees, WPCB employees and the public must be protected from exposure to product or material. Where products or materials may cause exposure, the Contractor shall monitor, or shall contract to have monitored, work area exposure conditions. Monitoring shall occur, at a minimum, prior to, during, and after the start of work and whenever there is a change in procedure, process, or chemical or material used. If exposures can not be maintained below the PEL, the Contractor shall restrict access to all areas where exposures exceed the PEL to authorized employees only who have been provided the required PPE for the operation. Safety Specialist or designee shall be notified if the potential exsists for the PEL to be exceeded.

  • Customer’s Processing of Personal Data Customer shall, in its use of the Services, Process Personal Data in accordance with the requirements of Data Protection Laws and Regulations. For the avoidance of doubt, Customer’s instructions for the Processing of Personal Data shall comply with Data Protection Laws and Regulations. Customer shall have sole responsibility for the means by which Customer acquired Personal Data.

  • AUTHORIZED ENTRY BY UCF PERSONNEL Authorized UCF personnel, as specified and defined in UCF DHRL publications, may enter any UCF DHRL facility (including, but not limited to rooms, suites, apartments, and shared common areas) in the event of an emergency. Authorized UCF personnel, may enter any UCF DHRL facility (including rooms, suites, apartments, and shared common areas) to conduct occupancy checks; lockouts; inspections for health, safety, maintenance, and compliance; maintenance; and/or fire code enforcement. Authorized UCF personnel may also enter any room/suite/apartment/common area if the personnel reasonably believe a violation of this agreement is occurring and there is no response when personnel request entry. Personal property in UCF DHRL facilities may not be searched without consent of the Student, except and unless the search is conducted in accordance with existing Florida law by law enforcement officers.

As part of its contract with HHSC Contractor may receive or create sensitive personal information, as section 521.002 of the Business and Commerce Code defines that phrase. Contractor must use appropriate safeguards to protect this sensitive personal information. These safeguards must include maintaining the sensitive personal information in a form that is unusable, unreadable, or indecipherable to unauthorized persons. Contractor may consult the “Guidance to Render Unsecured Protected Health Information Unusable, Unreadable, or Indecipherable to Unauthorized Individuals” issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to determine ways to meet this standard.

Should the Contractor or any Subcontractors have knowledge that, or believe that, an item, component, material, substance, or accessory within a product or assembly selected by the Contractor or any Subcontractor may contain Hazardous Materials it is the Contractor’s responsibility to secure a written certification from the manufacturer of any suspected material which identifies the specific Hazardous Material(s) contained, together with the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for such materials which shall be submitted to the Owner and Design Professional.

  • Handling of Personal Information The Organiser may use the personal information of individuals from exhibition related parties for any communications necessary for the holding of the Exhibition. In addition, the Organiser may send electronic mails or other advertising materials to exhibition related parties for promoting the Exhibition or other exhibitions to be organised by the Organiser. Exhibition related parties give their consent to the Organiser to provide their personal information to its designated partner company or a trade publication that gathers or features information related to the Exhibition whenever the Organiser deems such a provision necessary.
