Common use of Conversion to Grievance Clause in Contracts

Conversion to Grievance. If in the opinion of the CEA representative a matter initially filed as a complaint does involve the application or interpretation of this Agreement, the complaint may be converted to a grievance at or before Step Two. The grievance must be filed on a grievance form with copies of the complaint and all responses attached. Nothing in this section shall limit the Employer's right to raise questions of arbitrability.
