Conveyance and Possession Clause Samples
The Conveyance and Possession clause defines when and how legal ownership and physical control of a property are transferred from the seller to the buyer. Typically, this clause specifies the exact date and conditions under which the buyer will receive the deed and take physical possession, such as upon closing or after certain requirements are met. Its core function is to ensure both parties clearly understand when rights and responsibilities shift, thereby preventing disputes over access, liability, or use of the property.
