Corrective Discipline. Except as provided in paragraph 46 of this Agreement, the University recognizes the objective of corrective discipline for employees. The corrective procedure may result in the suspension or discharge of an employee if the progressive severity of the disciplinary actions taken by supervision does not bring about the desired response from the employee. The above provisions are subject to the grievance procedure and arbitration.
