Common use of County Responsibilities Clause in Contracts

County Responsibilities. a. The County will review outcomes of this Contract at its discretion and prior to renewing the Contract. b. The County will determine client eligibility and make referrals to Contractor. c. If the County has reason to believe that the health, safety, or well-being of a person receiving services may be endangered by action of the Contractor or its employees, The County may require that the Contractor immediately terminate providing services to an individual. The County may also remove the person from the care of the Contractor. These actions may be taken immediately and may continue for such a period as is reasonably necessary for the County to determine that the safety and well-being of the person or of other persons in the Contractor’s care have been assured. It is determined that the safety and well-being of the person will remain in jeopardy, the County may immediately terminate this Contract.
