Court Appearance in Official Capacity. Court appearance in an official capacity is considered working time. During an employee’s regular working hours, no leave of absence is necessary for such court appearance. If such court appearance is during off-duty hours, the employee shall be compensated in accordance with Article VI, Section 6. In either event, when the employee is compensated by the City for court appearance, the employee shall turn over to the City Treasurer any witness fees received.
