Common use of Court Liaison/Reader Clause in Contracts

Court Liaison/Reader. The normal hours of work for the Regular Full-Time Court Liaison positions shall be Monday to Friday, eight (8) consecutive hours which includes a one-half (½) hour unpaid lunch break between the hours of 06:30 a.m. and 05:00 p.m. Part-Time and Auxiliary Court Liaison employees shall not necessarily work eight (8) hours per day but rather will have their daily hours of work scheduled within the hours as outlined above and as per operational requirements. The normal hours of work for the Regular Full-Time Reader positions shall be Monday to Friday, eight (8) consecutive hours which includes a one-half (½) hour unpaid lunch break between the hours of 07:00 a.m. and 03:00 p.m. Part-Time and Auxiliary Reader employees shall not necessarily work eight (8) hours per day but rather will have their daily hours of work scheduled within the hours as outlined above and as per operational requirements. In the event of a work stoppage, the incumbents performing the Court Liaison function shall be considered an essential service and continue to have full access to the facilities.
