Common use of Criminal Record Check Clause in Contracts

Criminal Record Check. 1. All applicants for employment by the Board must submit to a criminal record check at the applicant's cost and provide any information required for such a check including but not limited to a fingerprint sample. 2. The criminal record check will be conducted and provided by the employee in the manner and frequency prescribed by law and Ohio Department of Education requirements. 3. The Board may employ an applicant prior to receiving a criminal record check report on a conditional basis. 4. If the results of the criminal record check demonstrates that the Board is prohibited by law from employing the person due to his/her criminal record or such record is not in keeping with standards in the District, the applicant who was conditionally employed will be immediately and summarily dismissed from his/her employment with the Southeast Local Schools.
