Crisis Prevention Intervention Allowance. The Board shall pay each full time teacher salary in addition to that provided for in Article 8.05 each year. This additional salary shall be paid upon completion of the Crisis Prevention Intervention Program, a non-violent, crisis intervention and prevention course designed to provide teachers with critical verbal and physical intervention strategies that will enhance the care welfare, safety, and security of individuals in the classroom and school environment. Certification under this course is a condition of employment with the Moose Factory Island District School Area Board.
